What we collect and why
If you use the enquiry form on this site we receive the name, company, email address and the shipment details you choose to write. We use them for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to prepare a quotation. We do not use them for newsletters or profiling, and we do not sell them.
Legal basis
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — together with the consent you give when submitting the form.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which forwards the message to our mailbox and acts as a processor on our behalf. Our email is hosted on Microsoft 365. The site itself is hosted by Vercel, whose server logs record technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and diagnostics. Some of these providers operate outside the EU; transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry becomes a shipment, the data is kept for as long as tax and customs law requires.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to your data, or for its correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may withdraw your consent at any time — write to info@columbiatransport.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
